Keynote Address

David Dary, Manhattan native and author of over 20 books, provided the keynote address, entitled, "Manhattan History, Some Memories and Thoughts."  He graduated from Kansas State University in 1956 and taught journalism at the University of Kansas for many years.  Mr. Dary is also the grandson of A. W. Long, founder of the Long Oil Company, which at one time, had a number of service stations in Manhattan.  His 30 min. address has been divided into smaller blocks for ease of viewing, but you will want to watch them all!
